Terms of Service

BotLine Verify helps freight brokers verify a pickup by collecting a short, no-app verification package from a driver or carrier contact, including phone verification, browser location, photos, and a spoken verification step, and by producing a scored result and audit record. Brokers may share a redacted proof summary with their customers.

Broker and customer users must provide accurate information, keep credentials secure, and are responsible for activity under their accounts. Drivers do not create accounts; they complete a one-time verification via a secure link and code. You must use the Service only for lawful freight-verification purposes and in compliance with these Terms.

By initiating a verification, the broker confirms it has a load relationship with the driver and a lawful basis to text the driver about that load. BotLine sends transactional messages for freight verification only: a verification link and a one-time code. You will receive up to 2 messages per shipment, plus no more than 1 additional non-load-related message per month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

You agree not to:

• send verification requests to individuals with whom you have no legitimate load relationship, or to purchased, scraped, or opted-out phone numbers;
• submit false, altered, reused, or AI-generated evidence, or attempt to defeat or manipulate the verification;
• access data belonging to another organization, probe, or interfere with the Service, or circumvent security or access controls;
• use the Service to violate any law or third-party right.

The Service provides evidence and a risk-based recommendation to assist a human decision. It does not perform biometric identity verification, and it does notguarantee a person’s identity, prevent fraud, or guarantee any outcome. Location, photo, and voice analysis are contextual signals that can be imperfect. You are solely responsible for your decision whether to release a load, and for any reliance on a verification result.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. As between the parties, brokers control the verification records created through their account and are responsible for providing any notices and obtaining any consents required for the data they submit or request.

BotLine and its licensors own the Service and all related software, content, and trademarks. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service. You retain rights to the data you submit and grant us the rights needed to operate the Service.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT VERIFICATION RESULTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BOTLINE AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU TO US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

You will indemnify and hold harmless BotLine and its affiliates from claims, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your data, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or to protect the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Venue for disputes lies in the state or federal courts located in Iowa, unless otherwise required by law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
